L'Alpe Bl'Huez is Back for 2008!

  • Registration : Blue Mounds State Park (top of the mound)
  • Parking : $5 inside the park unless you have a sticker.
  • Race Start: Corner of ID and South St, Bluemounds, WI
  • Race Finish: Blue Mound State Park, Bluemounds, WI
    New Categories for 2008! (you may qualify for more than one)
  • Stock Bike: No Aero Bars & Rims less than 30mm deep.
  • Aero Bike: Has Aero Bars and/or rim profile > 30mm.
  • Single Speed: One Freewheeling Gear (must have at least one brake).
  • Fixed Gear: One Fixed Gear (must have at least one brake).
  • Klunker: 25 lbs or more without water bottles.
  • Tandem: Two or more riders.

Wisconsin's Toughest Time Trial

This 10 mile TT starts in the Village of Blue Mounds on the shoulder of County ID at the intersection of South and Main streets. The first leg will give you a rolling warm up on County ID heading to the west. Just after entering Barneveld, take a right onto County K for a thrilling downhill into shadows of The Mound. Just short of the seven mile point, you will make a right onto Mounds Park Road. At the top of Mounds Park Road you'll take one more right turn onto the State Park road that leads to the top of the mound. Keep powering up this hill until you are at the top. The finish line is marked by the sidewalk leading to the bathrooms. map
